Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve your meals. Two large windows and French doors look out on the deck with a great view of the lake. The deck has a large gas grill and bar height table and chairs. This is 2 bedroom 1 bath home is a true "log cabin" nestled on lakefront property of the beautiful Norris Lake. There is a road between the house and the lake however it is only a short walk to the water where you can enjoy the 16 x 20 ft private dock to swim or tie up your boat. There is a large clearing down to the water that can be used to park an atv, utv, golf cart or other vehicle. The house has an asphalt driveway that will accommodate 4 to 6 cars end to end. This area of Norris Lake is absolutely beautiful and the fishing is superb! This cabin is your perfect place to get away from it all. Breathe in fresh air and enjoy the magnificent views overlooking Norris Lake from the awesome wrap around deck complete with seating to enjoy watching the water activities and wildlife. The cabins interior is comfortable and cozy, with a family room that provides plenty of seating and beautiful vaulted cedar ceilings. When you enter the cabin you’ll immediately enjoy the open airy feeling and notice all the natural light. The home features two bathrooms and two bedrooms with king size beds, (one up and one down) along with three twin beds located in the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make cooking simple, and the lower level features a washer and dryer for your convenience. The large screened in front porch makes for a great place to enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lake and the open-air side porch is great for grilling out and enjoying your dinner. ? The trees are tremendous and keep things fairly cool in the summer with all their shade. Comparatively speaking we have a gradual slope to the lake that reaches our large private dock. We also have two wave-runner platforms available for your use. Our property has nearly 400 feet of lake frontage with a nice curve that ads to the surrounding water view. Norris Lake has 800 miles of shore line that wind through the foothills of Tennessee. Much of the land is protected which helps keep the forestry and wildlife safe and in abundance. We have 3 lots (> 1.5 acres) and with the positioning it provides seclusion, but still close to the main channel on Big Creek. We recently paved the driveway, and paved all the way down to the lake to make entry and exit that much nicer. Unfortunately no cars down to the lake but if you bring a golf cart that is fine. The new dock has arrived and is quite spacious. 11 x 28 slip with a 16 x 32 integrated swim platform. We went with the concrete flooring to ensure it will be a solid place to enjoy without wakes jostling it about. I have subsequently attached two paddle boards to the outside supports. You could spend a week on the dock swimming, kayaking, fishing, paddleboarding, and laying out. We want you to not only enjoy the outside activities, but at the end of the day you want to have room to relax and have the evenings as enjoyable as the day was. The house sleeps 12 comfortably, and there is a full bathroom for every bedroom. No squeezing into your bed or no floor space to enjoy your inside activities. Large 3 season room, extra large pub table, and the fire pit about 15' from the front deck are just some of the areas to spread out at the end of the day. We are at the end of a cove which means a stress free dock swimming and floating uninterrupted. 2 kayaks and inflatable floats for your use. WiFi and a Roku 65" TV, and 2 King sized beds for those of you who like to stretch out. Big Creek is one of the best areas on the lake in my opinion because it is less congested and wider than most of the other areas. With that the water seems to stay a bit cleaner too. Five Marinas are close by. Shanghai is physically closer but a little bit longer back by boat. Whitman's is a real quick boat ride back but a little longer to get there by vehicle. Sequoyia and Norris Dam are close too, but those are only accessible by water from the house. If you are going up to the jumping bridge Sugar Hollow is a nice place to stop It is closer by land, but not a bad boat ride. All the places are great to eat at on the water. Whitman's/Sugar Hollow is more laid back and Shanghai is a the nicest of the bunch and has a new bags area right near the eating area. Norris Dam is on the way to the jumping rock and the rumor is that it has the best ice cream on the lake. I have investigated this myself and can tell you they have really good ice cream. Lastly there is ample trailer parking next to the road. We brought in dirt and gravel so there are LEVEL places for your trailer and boat so you don't have to work around it in the driveway. You could easily put multiple trailers up there. We rent the house to make it something we can afford to have, but we are always looking for ways to make it a special place for friends and family to spend special times together. Having this place be a part of your families best memories is very satisfying to us. No matter why you come to Norris lake this property will not disappoint.

Our Norris Lake Vacation Rental Home has three floors each with bedrooms and a full bath. We have recently built an additional large three-bedroom, two-bath wing onto the house. This arrangement works very well for one or more families vacationing together. We can rent the house with all seven bedrooms, or as the original 4BR/3BA arrangement by closing off the new addition. We reserve the right to only rent the full house during the peak season to maximize the use of the entire house. The main floor consists of a large kitchen, a dining area that opens into the great room, all on hard wood floors. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and dresser. There is also a full bath and a laundry room. The upstairs has the master bedroom which includes a king-size bed, writing table and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The basement has two bedrooms with two queen beds each. They share a full bath. Outside of the bedroom is a pool table and television. The new addition consists of a master suite with king bed and its own bathroom. Two additional bedrooms each have two queen beds and doors opening to the lakeside deck. The bedrooms share the second bathroom in the addition. The large kitchen has all modern amenities including two refrigerators (see features below). The smoke-free house is located where the Powell River and Davis Creek meet, about ten minutes down river from Flat Hollow Marina, and 15 minutes north of Springs Boat Dock. Both marinas have pumps, watercraft for rent and a grill. Additionally, you may bring your own boat and dock it in one of two covered slips provided at the base of the stairs leading from the house to the lake. The nearest ramp to launch a boat is a half mile from our driveway. If you enjoy recreation on the lawn, there is a half-acre area beside the driveway ideal for horseshoes, crocket, badminton or the like. This Norris Lake Vacation Rental has over 240 feet of shoreline and is set on five acres for maximum privacy. If the lake isn't your thing, it's a couple of miles ATV ride to the trailhead of Windrock. It's also conveniently located within a short drive to Knoxville, Big Ridge State Park, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Located in a cul-de-sac with only two neighbors it's perfect for a quiet getaway. Pets are part of the family and always welcome to come with. There is a fence outside along with a large back yard. The fence however, is not pet proof and a small dog may be able to escape in some places. While we are pet friendly, we ask that all pet owners be responsible for their pets safety and wellbeing while on property. We do allow smoking on the outside porches and have provided receptacles for your convenience. Please refrain from disposing of your them in the yard. The house is set in a country setting after exiting the interstate you can expect to travel though neighborhoods of diverse living situations. My neighborhood is safe and I have never had any issues there. There are only three houses there, including this one. The large view windows are special energy efficient double pane glass that resists heat and sun while letting in the spectacular lake view. This was part of our extensive Spring of 2010 major renovation to the entire home inside and out. We have also just finished another large update and renovation in the spring of 2016. Built in 1977, this cabin has served as a retreat for three generations of our family. Since 2006, its classic a-frame design with locally sourced wood and stone has invited guests to enjoy a cozy, outdoors getaway here on Norris Lake. We hope we can welcome you into our little slice of heaven. Over the years we listened to every concern and piece of advice our guests had. That’s why, in 2017, we underwent a massive renovation to meet the demands of our guests and keep up with the growing popularity of the area. This three bed, two bath boasts an open floor plan downstairs and two large porches, both overlooking the lake. Downstairs, you will find the fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a master bedroom featuring classic, rustic cabin furnishings, a smart tv and a queen size bed, a newly renovated master bath with an oversized bath/shower combo and the great room. The great room includes upgraded DirectTV entertainment on a 55 inch flat-screen TV, a blue tooth sound bar as well as a sectional sofa, recliner and a love seat. Also, just a 10 minute (speed) boat ride away, is Whitman Hollow. Whitman is a smaller dock, but don't let that fool you. We have replaced our grill with a new stainless 5 burner grill and have also replaced 5 mattresses and box springs in our bedrooms, adding Kings in the master bedrooms and one bedroom downstairs. This gorgeous luxury log home is located in a pristine cove in the Cove Pointe / Big Creek area on Norris Lake (point 6). The lake is literally right out your window. The home features two main decks that over look the crystal clear lake and woods and there are 2 smaller decks on the side of the home and out front. Great places to hang out. The home itself boasts a well furnished great room that is so welcoming and includes a nice large fire place with a newly installed big screen TV above fireplace. Great place to relax and enjoy family. Also a highlight are the excellent dining areas both inside and on the main deck with a wonderful view of the woods and water. You will find that everyone seems to gravitate to that main deck and its so fun to settle in after a long day on the water to laugh and tell stories. The kitchen is fully equipped and up to date including disposal, blender, dish washer etc. so you can focus on the fun stuff rather than the clean up. The washer and dryer in the main bathroom offers further convenience. All bedrooms are roomy and tastefully finished- pillow and fresh bed linens provided.
